LG Electronics announced a new Netbook at the GSMA Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona. The LG-X120 is the successor to the LG-X110. As with all newer generation netbooks, the LG-X120 includes integrated 3G HSPA connection, and a 'Smart-On' interface (which basically boots up frequently used applications within seconds after hitting the power-on button).
The netbook is expected to come in white, and with a lime or pink outer detail, with a matt surface cover. Specs-wise, it's not going to much different from current crops of netbooks, so most of the differences will be software and design.
CNET Asia reports the netbook is expected to arrive in Singapore in Q2 of this year.

MSI Wind U120 in Grey/Black color scheme
The original black and white color scheme MSI WIND U120 is now available in gray and black, and more sober outer scheme.
This new casing would definitely appeal more to the business and enterprise markets which MSI originally suggested this netbook variant was aimed at.
Specifications wise, it's pretty much standard netbook specs, so I won't bother to list them. Its reported that this new variant has started to sell in the US market.

Acer Aspire ONE D150 hands on video
netbooknews.de posted a pretty good first-take hands-on video for the new Acer Aspire ONE D150. The D150 is a 10-inch version of the best-selling first generation Aspire ONE. Specs-wise, it's pretty standard netbook specs, so there's nothing different there.
According to reviewer, he's not super-excited about this new release from Acer, the unit feels 'cheap', the keyboard is not exactly good for a 2nd generation netbook, and Acer should know better that 2009 would be stiff competition, but has failed to release a worthy successor to the 2008 Aspire ONE.
Anyway, check out the video...

HP Mini 2140 hitting the stores today.
If you were disappointed when HP released the plastic Mini 1000 successor to the aluminium-clad HP Mini 2133, the wait is over.
The HP Mini 2140 will be hitting the stores in Singapore today, with the rest of Asia getting theirs very soon. The basic configuration with Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 120GB storage and Windows XP Home Edition goes for S$799.
At this price, not only will it appeal to the style conscious consumers and business users, coupled with nearly full-sized keyboard and ExpressCard/54 slot, would make the HP Mini 2140 an excellent buy.
Check it out at the your local stores now.
